What can I do if I’m a taxi driver and was in an accident but after I found out my employer had no insurance on the vehicle I was driving?

How can I avoid the points on my license? What can I do to not have my driving privileges suspended?

If you are not the owner of the vehicle or do not lease the vehicle from the employer, then the lack of insurance should be the employer's problem, not yours: the owner or lessee of the vehicle is the one who is obligated to maintain insurance. If you do lease the vehicle, however, then this will be your violation.

In addition, if you injured another person or caused damage to another's property, then you, as the driver, could be liable for the damage if you were at fault in causing the accident (e.g. driving carelessly or negligently); the owner could also be liable, but the owner's potential liability does  not protect you.
