What to do if I’ve been a permenant resident for 14 years and have been charged with grand larceny?

It is my first arrest ever.It has been dropped to petit larceny and I was offered a Disorderly conduct violation with 35 hours community service. If I accept this offer, what does it make me removable from the US? Also, would I be denied re-entry while this case I pending?

Hello. It is very important that you have an attorney assist you and immediately. The attorney will provide you with private legal advice. Immigration and Visa law is national, federal law, so any knowledgeable attorney can assist you. I myself happen to be involved in a case similar to yours. This website provides general information and general principles of law and does not provide private legal advice. Some attorneys are available seven days for emergency legal needs. Many attorneys will confer initially at no charge. Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys will provide a reduced fee for financial hardship. Some attorneys may also assist you in limited scope manner to conserve legal costs. All the best.
