What to do if I’m pregnant by a US citizen but want to move back to the UK?

I am a legal permanent resident of the US. I am 4 months pregnant and my fiance the baby’s father has left me. I have no family in the United States and wish to move back home to the United Kingdom to raise my child there surrounded by family. What are my legal rights when it comes to the baby’s father?

If you wish to move back to the United Kingdom while pregnant then you have the legal right to do so in this country. As to future child support from the baby's father, you will have to deal with British law on the subject assuming you are residing in the United Kingdom when the child is born.
