If I’m a co-founder of a startup and am in the process of registering our company, can we ask for donations to help support our company before the registration is complete?
Also, if the parent company is of one name and we would like our website to be another name, would there be any conflicts filing both names under the LLC? And if there are no issues, are there additional paperworks to file to separate out parent company name from website name?

If you need money through donations to your company there is no law in this country preventing donations to it. As to different names there would be no problems with such with respect to the limited liability company so long as you register both names as a trade or service name with your state's secretary of state.
As to the last question, such would be accomplished through the registration of trade or service names. You can find a business attorney in your locality to help you through attorneypages.com.
