If my sister’s adoption was closed, is it stillpossible for me to petition to have her adoption file opened in order for me to locate her?
I am a 21 year old man. Recently my adopted sister, whom I have never met, attempted to reach out to my father through an anonymous adoption website.

From what you have written it is still possible for you to petition the court to have your sister's adoption file opened via a court order in order for you to try and locate her. I suggest that the best way to initiate the process is to consult a family law attorney to assist you in the endeavor.
