What to do if I’m 15 years old and I would like to leave my parents’ house?

My dad verbally and physically abuses me and my mother wont do anything about it because she doesn’t want to fight with him. I get good grades in school and am looking for a part time job just to be able to stay out of the house. What can I do to get out of there and stay with a relative?

If you are being abused by a parent you need to contact a teacher, a close relative, law enforcement, or your local Child Protection Services about your matter and seek help. No one in this or any other country should be abused. After reporting the abuse that you are receiving, a court order may issue allowing you to stay in a safe place.
