No, you are not. The state of Maryland does not recognize the right of a child to become emancipated except in very limited circumstances. And that right generally occurs at the age of 16. The idea of being emancipated is that the responsibility to take care and provide for you is shifted from one person to another. Like in marriage. Please get some counseling by any services /agency that is available to you at this point in time. And congratulations. Good luck to you.
