HR confidential information

Hey, so there was general issues at work with
my boss that included eveyone i work so we
decided to call HR and let them know my issues.
Well long story short HR told my boss that i
was the one who called, creating a bit of a
hostile work environment. Can HR leak my name
to my boss like that?

There is no such right to confidentiality in the workplace unless required under the terms of an employment contract or union agreement. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will". This means that a company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination).
