My last employer fired me
but didn’t have my final

Your state's department of labor, called the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement or DLSE, can enforce the "waiting time" penalty against your employer--that is, require them to pay you for the extra days you had to wait for your final paycheck. Contact the DLSE to file a complaint.
