How to get insurance canceled
My husband works for walmart and has
had their insurance but his coverage is
taking to much money and its making his
paychecks basically unlivable.I
recently had him apply for Medicaid and
he was aproved and his Medicaid has
been active since november 2016 but his
job is still givibg him the run around
about canceling his insurance thru them
how can we fix this??

He can cancel it during the next annual "open enrollment" period: he does not need to re-enroll or renew the insurance, but can instead cancel it then. Insurance may generally only be changed, added, or dropped annually, since the policies are one-year contracts. You can't cancel it mid-policy year, even if the cost has become burdensome for you; you are contratually locked in for the year.
