There isn't any mathematical formula for determining compensation for pain and suffering.It just depends on the extent of your injuries as documented in the medical reports. If you have fully recovered, you will receive less compensation for pain and suffering than if you have residual complaints after completing your medical treatment.
Compensation for the medical bills is straight reimbursement. Compensation for pain and suffering is an amount in addition to the medical bills based on the medical reports as discussed above. Compensation for wage loss is straight reimbursement.
