I had an auto accident in Harris County, TX and it was her fault. Her insurance paid me the property damage. I am asking them now to pay me my medical expenses, MRI, doctor visit, etc but there was also injury to me, and the insurance company wants me to send a figure to settle the case. don’t want to be greedy and still want to get my expenses back. I was disabled at work for sometime, felt neck, shoulder and back pain for sometime.

I am not a licensed auto accident attorney in Harris County, TX, but I handle a lot personal injury cases in CT. You certainly sound like you should be using a lawyer here in Harris County to assist you. Lawyers in cases like this do the work for you and take 1/3 of what you collect as their fees. You sound like you may have some lost time from work that you need to calculate, you may have some permanent injuries, and want to see a doctor in Harris County, TX to find out what if any "permanency rating" you have on any injured part of your body. The severity of your damages (the extent to which you may not even be aware of) is going to dictate the number you offer as a settlement. It sounds like liability is not an issue since you got paid for the property damage.
