How many marijuana cigarettes (joints) can be made from 100 grams of marijuana?

In Ohio, because penalties are more severe after 100 grams (a little over 3.5 ounces), it is useful to know exactly how many marijuana cigarettes 100 grams can make. 100 grams typically makes a little over 200 marijuana cigarettes, or “joints.” However, the exact amount will always vary depending on the potency of the joint. It would not be out of the ordinary for 100 grams to produce as many as 400 cigarettes or as little as 100. On the other hand, a marijuana cigar, or “blunt,” typically holds much more marijuana (often multiple grams per blunt), so 100 grams could produce only about 100 blunts total.
