It depends on the type of insurance, the type of claim and it depends on the carrier. There is really not set time.  Sometimes certain claims take a lot of investigative work on the part of the carrier and that takes time.  Georgia may have a reasonableness standard.  I am not admitted there buy why don't you right back with more specifics and see if we can help.
