The way one "challenges" a police accident report is typically done through one's own insurance carrier where the person onvolved in the accident contacts hos or her own claims representative about the incident and gives their version of the incident.

The claims representative then contacts the law enforcement agency reporting on the incident with another "version" as to what allegedly transpired to be placed in the official report.
