How do I go about finding a lawyer to help in small claims?
My boss hasn’t paid me in 3 weeks. I have text messages from him that he owes me. He keeps saying he knows but still no money.

Unlike in some states, in S.C. you are allowed to have an attorney represent you in small claims court. An attorney can advise you on the validity of your claim, as well as on what evidence you'll need to prove your claim. In most cases you may ask the court to include the attorney's fees in the amount of the judgment if you win the case.
