How do I file a motion for payment, for land that was taken by the city for back taxes?
An attorney’s office called and said that we have over $1000.00 coing back to us after everything was all said and done with the back taxes, asked me to file a motion for payment, I sent the court a letter with all the nessacary info, but they sent it back saying it was not done in the correct manner, how to I file a motion for payment? Thanks

You can go to the courthouse, many times the clerks there can be extremely helpful in these kinds of matters. Otherwise you can go to an attorney . If money is an issue contact legal aid, or if there is law school nearby, call their legal clinic. There are free/low cost.
