How do I best defend against an underage drinking citation?

I was given a breathalyzer and put in handcuffs but was not taken to jail. I only received a citation for the underage.

I would strongly suggest that you get help from an attorney on this matter.  You need to get the results of the blow here because you obviously were not charged with DWI. If it is your first offense it is likely that your license will be suspended for 90 days and you could be fined up to $300 plus court costs.  Jail is not likely.
