We have a family trust and are concerned if both of us were killed in an accident of
some kind how can we designate our daughter, who is married, to be the sole heir
for the trust

You are doing some estate planning which is a good thing. So your daughter would be the sole heir under intestacy. Her husband would not receive anything unless she passes on and then he would inherit Is that what you are talking about? A Rtsu set up for her benefit can have parameters for distribution and also for inheritance should she pass away before the funds are depleted. But state law will dictate that. I would seek help from a qualified Trust and Estates attorney. Good luck.
