How can I stop the hospital from charging me for their mistake?

The nurse did not do her job and I ended with blood clots and spent 9 days in the hospital when I should have to stay only one night. Now, the hospital wants me to pay for this time which was not require due to my surgery but to the nurse error.

Based upon what you have written about you may have the factual basis for a medical malpractice lawsuit against the hispital. I suggest that you consult with a personal injury attorney in your locality. One can be found on attorneypages.com. Such a claim may prevent the hospital from coming after you for the payment that you have written about.
