i went to court they charged me with disorderly conduct instead of petty larceny and ive been suspended from my job since the 19th and now they want to terminate me based on the orginal charge of petty larceny can they do that i work for an agency

Unless you have an employment contract, you're an employee at will, which means the agency does not even need to have a reason to fire you.  There are some illegal reasons for firing, such as racial discrimination or retaliation for filing a workers compensation claim (two examples, others are similar), but I don't think any of those are involved, from your question.  I don't think there's anything you can do about this.
