Am I legally eligible to do freelancing as part-time along with my current job?
I am on l2 EAD in the US. I’m currently employed with an employer and working to him. I would like to do freelancing over internet.

Whether or not you are contractually precluded from doing the desired freelancing you want to do depends upon what your employer employee manual states on the subject as well as any contract that you may have with your employer.
If there is no preclusion as to such, then you can do what you wish to do despite your L2 EAD status in this country.
