You can only work pursuant to the conditions of your status as a F-1 student.  I believe you are only eligible to work part-time and only on-campus during the school year.  If you do anything that is not in keeping with the conditions of your status, you can lose your status.  You  need to discuss your work opportunities and possibilities with the foreign student advisor's office at your school.
