What can I do about workplace discrimination?

I feel like I’m being harassed at work and feel like I’m being discriminated again by my boss. I was involved with an issue at my store and the HR person talked to me about what happened and 2 other people did also. In less then 2 months, all 3 of us were transferred out of the store. I was lead to believe that I was going to get a promotion if I stepped down and took a produce manager role for a couple of months, which didn’t happen. My boss and store manager both kept telling me that I wasn’t being demoted, which I also found to be fishy. Now my boss has moved me further away from my house and I have to drive 40 minutes. Over the years I had to deal with harassment, being trashed on facebook by employees and store managers, and went 3 years without a raise. We had other issues with in our region but nothing happened to those people. What should I do?

Discrimination in the workplace has to do with unfair treatment due to an employee's race, religion, nationality, age (over 40), disability, gender and the like. Since you did not mention any of these factors, I assume that they did not play a role in your situation. So although you may have been treated differently, even unfailrly, it does not constitute legally actionable discrimination. The fact is that unless this action violated the terms of a union agreement, employment contract or company policy, you have no claim. In "at will" employment, a company can set the conditions of work much as it seees fit. For their part, an employee can either comply, complain and risk termination, or quit.
