I am a lawyer in CT but practice in this area and have filed expungement applications. There is no magic number of years that you have to wait after the probation ends that you are sure to get relief. It all depends on the seriousness of the charges and what the board thinks. I think that waiting 3 years from date your probation ended is good enough if you have a job and good references. However, do not quote me as it is subject to a board's review and depends on how good your application is.
