What to do if earlier today my mom threatened me with pressing charges against my boyfriend?
We started dating when I was 17 (I am now 18) and he was 23; we did engage in sexual activity. Can my mother still press charges even though I am 18?

The age at which a person can legally agree to have sexual relations is called the "age of consent". And in WA, the age of consent is 16. Therefore, your boyfriend cannot be prosecuted under the existing laws of your state.
