Does “worldly possessions” as stated in a will include all tangible possessions, real estate and financial accounts?

Cash is apparently included in “worldly possessions”. Does the term also encompass any monies in banks, brokerage firms, etc.?

That is such an old term to be used in Will.  It must be an older person and older Will.  "Worldy" is a refernce to the Bible and means actually possessions of "this" world rather than of heaven or the spiritual world. So cash, personal and household items, and all other assets that would be distributed among heirs or beneficiaries in this day and age would qualify.  Good luck.
