Although I am not a Florida lawyer, I have little doubt that if you are asking "Does a person with a criminal record, who was out on probation when he allegedly committed a second crime, get the benefits of a shorter statute of limitation than a person with a clean record would have solely because he was on probation?" the answer to be a big has NO.
However, as a second time offender he likely would get the benefits of a longer sentence.
