Generally speaking, no it will not. Homeowners insurance will cover for "accidental damage" but how that is explained in your policy matters. And covering your son on some one else's property is not generally covered as well. If he was hired by the homeowner to mow the lawn then maybe their policy would cover him (unless he would be considered an independent contractor). I would speak with an attorney as soon as you can. One that deals in insurance coverage issues. Good luck.
