Do we stay or leave A.S.A.P.?

We just recived a summons and eviction noticethis morning.Prior to this noticewe had an agreement with the landlord that we will be out by 6-30-09 and wll pay the $2,347 owed to her. We would not like to have the eviction on our record. So,my question is do we stay until the court date or do we move A.S.A.P. and why?

What kind of agreement? Written agreement or verbal? For that amount, it is supposed to be written.  Did the landlord tell you differently after you received the summons and eviction notice? Did you speak to the landlord?

You may already have the eviction on your record since you received the summons.
