Do reimbursements for lodging cover storage costs?

My move in date for my apartment (a brand new building, just finishing construction) is for tomorrow but I have found out that electricity meters have not been set up so the apartment is not ready for move-in . My rent payments start tomorrow. They made me sign a Construction Addendum that says they will cover lodging expenses up to $80 per night with receipts if the unit is not ready until they get the Certificate for Occupancy in exchange for the rental payments they are charging me. Are my storage costs for furniture and such covered by the Construction Addendum or is it only for hotels?

You need to carefully read the construction addednum that you signed to see what is covered for reimbursement in the document. If lodging solely for yourself is covered then the storage costs are not in that the agreement sets forth what is allowed between you and the landlord due to the late completion of the unit you rented.
