I have recently found out that the office manager at my current place of business has been deducting 2-5 hours from each of my paychecks for the last few weeks out of spite. What your employer has done is illegal. A business/company cannot change a worker's time card for the sole purpose of reducing hours actually worked (as opposed to correcting some type of error). At this point, you can file a wage claim with your state's depatment of labor or you can consult directly with an employment law attoreny (such consultations may be free).
