Yes, you very likely have an employment discrimination complaint: employers may not discriminate against people in hiring based on their sex, except in only a very few, completely obvious cases (e.g. hiring only male men's room attendents for high-end restaurants or hotels). Since there is no legitimate gender-based reason why only women can be cashiers, not even considering you for the job is likely illegal discrimiantion. Try contacting the federal EEOC about filing a complaint, and good luck.
