Do I have a personal injury case if I was injured on an airplane?

A metal case fell from an overhead bin on an aircraft as a passenger was retrieving his baggage. The bag hit my head causing a gash and I am now suffering from physical pain.

Absolutely. You do have a personal injury case since it affected your person/body. I would suggest contacting a lawyer.

Cases against airlines have strict rules for notice and filing.  So if indeed you were injured and are suffering as a result of the negilgence of the airline or aircraft personnel then seek help NOW from an aattorney that knows the rules.  Good luck.
