Do I have a duty to repair a shared fence?

My dog chewed some holes in a fence 6′ cedar privacy fence shared with my

neighbor. m I legally required to fix the fence?

As the owner of the dog, you are liable for property damage caused by the dog,which in this case is the cost of repairs to the fence.  You are liable for negligence which is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable dog owner would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
