An individual that only knows of me through a past co-worker made the statement that “the reason you can’t keep a job for more than 90 days is because you lie about your skills and others know”. Then publicly posted the statement to Twitter.

Under the laws of all states in this coutnry what you have written about could be deemed "defamatory" is the statement pertaining to you is false in that what was written paints you in a false light subjecting you to ridicule and was disseminated to third parties via a Twitter account. Truth is a defense to a claim for defamation.
