Do I have a case if I didn’t get a job because my former manger did not like me?

My previous employer terminated my position company-wide. They then had interviews for the replacement position which I did not get. The person who did get the position, worked under me but did not meet any of the requirements and was highly underqualified. I was replaced due to the fact that the general manager did not want me in the position. I was told by my direct manager I did not get the position due to the fact that the GM did not feel

Unless your not being re-hired constituted some form of actionable discrimination (which you did not indicate), then it was legal. In an "at will" work setting, an empoyer can set the conditions of work much as it sees fit. Accordingly, it can hire whomever it chooses. Therefore, unless your treatment in some way violated the terms of a union agreement or employment contact, it was legal.
