Unfortunately, unless you have protection under the terms of an employment contract or union agreement, there really isn't much that you can do since you're an "at will" worker. This means that your company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit. Accordingly, you could have been terminated for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
