I want to file for divorce from my husband. We have been separated for 8 years and we have no property or assets of any kind we only have a 10 year old son who lives with me for whom he pays child support. Will I file contested or uncontested?

If there are no disputed issues between you and your husband, your divorce is uncontested.
If there are disputed issues between you and your husband, your divorce is contested.
There is a large packet of forms for dissolution of marriage which need to be completed and filed with the court. You can either obtain that packet of forms in person from the court or online.
