Did I give up any rights?

I have moved out of the family rental property and am living in my own rental property. In the state of California, have I given up any of my rights? I have no intentions or motives for this move except I dont think I should live in a garage. You previously answered my question as to the “rent” money, to keep making payments due to a written contract. I guess that will work itself out in time when settlement occures. Again, have I given up any rights by moving out, have I done anything to my status as rightful owner of child custody or any other material belongings? Thanks Andy

Usually moving out is a bad plan especially if children are involved.  If you can't move back (even just temporarily) then you need to speak with an attorney ASAP.
