What to do if the dealer that we bought our car from still has not sent me my title after 6 months?

We have called the dealer muliple times and were told to call back, were put on hold for long periods of time or was just told that there was nothing they could do.

I would contact your state attorney general's office immediately and advise them of the problem.  File a complaint.   Then you may want to seek legal help about filing an action against the dealer and asking for "specific performance" of the contract you entered in to.  But call the state AG first.  they may be able to help you with out incurring any legal fees.  Good luck.
