Client’s husband wants list of sexual partners

Client’s husband wants list of sex partners prior to the marriage. Is there harm in providing that in the event that they got divorced given that the partners were prior to marriage?

I'm not sure what kind of client you're talking about.  But unless you're a lawyer, you have no business giving legal advice to your client, even if you're "just passing along" what you might read here.  For reliable advice, your client needs to have all the facts considered by a qualified attorney, and one place to look for counsel is our website, http://attorneypages.com

This is a fairly unusual request.  I'm not a Texas lawyer, but I can't see the purpose in this, and it might, in some states, be considered an invasion of privacy by one of the prior sex partners, and there could be a lawsuit for that.  I'd be most likely to advise a client of my own not to agree to that, without a confidentiality agreement that would basically make the names useless to the husband.  I don't like this.
