Do you have a certain amount of time to return a vehicle to a dealer and cancel the finance loan if you no longer want the car?

There is no right to rescind (that is, change your mind and return the car and cancel the transaction and financing) a transaction like this--a vehicle purchase. The 3-day right to rescind in your state is limited to a few specific types of transactions, like home improvement contractors, health clubs, and dating services--but not vehicles. As soon as you enter the agreement, you are bound to it.
