Can my employer ask me questions about my medical information in an unsecured area?
Also, can they have someone on speaker phone hearing what you are saying with out telling you while talking about your medical information?

Unless you have a medical condition potentially affecting your ability to do your job or you were injured at work, your employer ordinarily cannot legally ask you for information as to your medical condition in a secured or unsecured area.
However, if there is a justifiable basis for the employer to seek such information then he or she can ask such in a secure or unsecure area taking caution to protect your right to privacy on the subject.
The employer is required under the law to advise the employee of all who would be in the conference regarding the medical condition be they on the speaker phone or not.
