Can someone terminate an account any time for any reason?

I’m a software developer. My google account was terminated about a month back do to untrue allegations. They do have in their terms that they can terminate any account any time for any reason. I find it hard to believe that’s legally acceptable. Do I have any options, or is their termination legitimate?

This answers your question: "They do have in their terms that they can terminate any account any time for any reason." A provision like that is common, legal, and enforceable. There is no law requiring Google (or any private business) to work with or have an account for any particular person, vendor, developer, etc.  Google or any business has the right to discontinue accounts or working with someone whenever they want, for any reason (even untrue allegations), unless there actually was a written contract preventing them from doing so.
