I have taken all steps necessary to prevent spreading the bugs to any other parts of the house and to work.

If you do not have an employment contract guarantying you hours, you are an employee at will. An employee at will may be terminated at any time, for any reason--or may have anything "short of" termination done, such as being suspended or furloughed, being told not to come in to work, etc. Your employer could therefore tell you to not come in because they are worried about bedbugs; indeed, your employer could simply terminate you if they wanted to.
