Can my shift be changed legally after a manger says it wouldn’t?

At my job, they made everyone fill out this paper for time changes. I was told by the manager herself that my shift wasn’t going to change. However, they supposedly made the changes by seniority but I have seniority over 2 other employees who got to keep their shifts even though my shift changed. Could I fight this?

Unless this action violates the termd of an exisiting employment contraxt or union agreemnt, it is legal. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will" which means that a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. This inlcudes  shift changes. Further, contrary to what most people think, unless there exisits some form of actionable discrimination not all employees need be treated the same or even fairly.
