Can my landlord agency make me pay rent until my lease is over or until it gets re rented, even though it wasn’t specified in my lease agreement?
I signed a 1 year contract. I wasn’t comfortable at my new rental home after 3 months. I informed my renting agency and they told me I need to keep paying rent until the end of my lease or until they get it re-rented. But the thing is, it doesn’t say this in my lease agreement. So can they make me keep paying for rent?

When you sign a one-year lease or contract, you are obligated for the rent for that entire period, or if you move out early (breaking the lease) until the unit is re-rented, whichever comes first. Leases do not need to specifically say this--by definition, signing a one-year lease obligates you for a year. So from what you write, they could make you pay rent in this situation.
