Can my fiance and myself get out of a lease if we have a baby?

My fiancé and me each signed a lease to share 1 bedroom out of a 2 bedroom apartment and our friend is living in the other room. We have just found out that we our expecting a child is their anything we can do to get out of the spring semester? We will be moving back to our hometown 4 hours away and be getting an apartment there and be taking online classes.

You need to find out what the lawful occupancy limit is for a 2-bedroom apartment in your area. If 3 adults and a child are not legally allowed, you can be excused from your obligations under the lease. Right now you need to contact your zoning enforcement officer or housing authority.

If you do not exceed the legal limit, then you can be held to the full-term remaining on the lease uness you cn find a replacement tenant that is suitable to your landlord.
