Can my employer ignore an injury that I sustained at work?

I hurt my foot at work, and now my employer has suspended me from work saying ” it’s not a workplace injury” when it clearly was caused at work from a previous fall. They refused to send me to their doctor and wants me to get a work injury form filled out by a private doctor that i cannot afford. I cannot work and they will not accept my claim or file it with workman’s comp. what can i do?

From what you have written about the conduct of your employer is improper under the laws of all states in this coutnry with respect to not reporting your work related injury.

I suggest that you consult immediately with a worker's compensation attorney about what happended, have a meeting with a representative of your local department of labor, and then set an appointment with your treating physician as to what happened and have your foot tended to properly.
